Interspace was a group exhibition of five West Coast artists that used a variety of
materials including painted steel, Mylar, photography, digital mix media, and sand to
produce sculpture. These works examined the relationship between two and three-dimensional space. Pieces explored such cultural subjects as Ikebana flower arrangements, Japanese Zen Gardens, and urban mapping, as well as natural phenomena like water and molecular structure.
Elizabeth Bryant’s work incorporated aspects of visual perception with adjoining relationships of photographic images of Ikebana flower arrangements, architectural
structures and garden design.
