Custom business cards, audio tape of Earl Nightingale, promotional photograph with text, 2 jackets with over 80 appliques of businesses and employee names, wall rack, tape players, and headphones.

This installation was part of Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibition’s FAR Bizzare at the Old Federal Reserve Building in Los Angeles in 1992. Based on Earl Nightingale, a motivational speaker and host of a weekly radio show in the 1950s & 1960s. Famous for statements like: “We all walk in the dark and each of us must learn to turn on his or her own light” and “You are, at this moment, standing in the middle of your own ‘acre of diamonds’.”
